  In November 2021, our company shipped a 42-meter Steep incline conveyor belt with a bandwidth of 1200mm to a cement plant in Nigeria for the transportation and delivery of cement.


  The high-angle corrugated sidewall belt consists of three parts: base belt, sidewall, and diaphragm. The ribs prevent materials from slipping and falling. In order to make it easier to bypass the roller, the ribs are designed in a corrugated shape; the function of the diaphragm is to support the material. In order to achieve large-angle conveying, a T-type TC type is adopted. 


  The ribs and diaphragms are connected to the base belt by secondary vulcanization, which has high connection strength. High-angle conveyor belts are mainly used for horizontal transportation of bulk materials such as coal, coke, sand and gravel, and can also be used for vertical transportation of finished items.


  The steep incline belt conveyor in coal mines is a conveying equipment used in coal mines industry, its biggest features are that they could transport in a large angle condition, which can solve the problems that traditional belt conveyor can not work in a large condition. They could be extensively used in coal mine, mines, cement plant, ports and other industries with the advantages of safety, high efficiency, and save energy.


  Main structure of steep incline belt conveyor in coal mines that includes the belt conveyor body, drive equipment, take-up equipment, guide equipment, protective equipment and other components. Among them, the main structure of belt conveyor is consisted of a frame, roller, belt, etc. The frame is usually welded with steel plates with sufficient strength and rigidity.


  Roller is the core component of the belt conveyor, its function is to transport the materials from the feeding port to the discharge port.


  Drive device usually adopts motor, reducer and other transmission devices. Through the transmission shaft, so that the belt starts operation.


  Take-up device generally uses heavy hammer type or a hydraulic type, that could properly tension the belt to ensure the conveyor belt could operate normally.


  Guide device often used for guiding conveyor belt won not be deviated from the trait during the transportation period, to avoid the conveyor belt deviation.

Protective devices include dust-proof devices, anti collision frames, etc. Which can extend its service life.
