Introduction to the steep inclined rubber conveyor belt parameter
2024-12-09 17:46In June 2019, our company shipped a 102-meter high-angle conveyor belt with a bandwidth of 1200mm to a cement plant in the Dominican Republic for the transportation and delivery of cement.
The high-angle corrugated sidewall belt consists of three parts: base belt, sidewall, and diaphragm. The ribs prevent materials from slipping and falling. In order to make it easier to bypass the roller, the ribs are designed in a corrugated shape; the function of the diaphragm is to support the material. In order to achieve large-angle conveying, a T-type TC type is adopted.
The ribs and diaphragms are connected to the base belt by secondary vulcanization, which has high connection strength. High-angle conveyor belts are mainly used for horizontal transportation of bulk materials such as coal, coke, sand and gravel, and can also be used for vertical transportation of finished items.
Introduction to steeply inclined conveyor belt parameter:
1. The inclination of high-angle rubber conveyor belt refers to the angle between the rubber conveyor belt and the horizontal plane, generally the degree between 30-90 degrees. The larger the angle is, the stronger the capacity of the rubber conveyor belt will be. Meanwhile, it will increase the friction resistance and the energy consumption of the rubber conveyor belt.
2. Transporting capacity
A steeply inclined rubber conveyor belt’ conveying capacity refers to the volume of materials that are transported in a unit of time, usually in tons/hour. The transporting capacity depends on the rubber belt width, speed, inclination, density of materials, and particle size.
3. Belt speed
The steep inclined rubber conveyor belt’s belt speed refers to the running speed of the rubber conveyor belt in a unit of time, usually in meters/second. The faster the belt speed, the transporting capacity will be higher. Meanwhile, it will accelerate the wear and energy consumption of the rubber conveyor belt.
4. Belt width
The belt width refers to the steep inclined conveyor belt's valid belt width, usually in millimeters. The size of the belt width depends on the particle of materials size and conveying capacity requirement.
5. Power
High-angle rubber conveyor belt’s power refers to the required energy that motivates the rubber conveyor belt, usually in kilowatts. The size of power relies on the belt length, belt speed, materials density, and particle.
6 . Conveying distance
The conveying distance of a steeply inclined conveyor belt refers to the belt length from the starting point to the endpoint, usually in meters. The longer the conveyed distance, the higher the belt’s carrying capacity and power requirements will be.
7. Conveying height
The conveying height of the steeply inclined rubber conveyor belt refers to the endpoint of the belt and the height gap between the starting point, usually in meters. The higher the conveyed height is, the higher the carrying capacity and power requirements for the rubber steep inclined conveyor belt will be.
