When the conveyor belt is operating normally, when the running speed is different with the conveyor belt, roller and conveyor belt will generate relative friction. Especially when the materials on the conveyor belt are heavy, the friction between the roller and the conveyor belt will be greater, which will increase the wear of conveyor belt that affect the using life of conveyor belt. If the installation process of cleaning machine is not up to standard, it will cause additional wear to the conveyor belt.
The conveyor belt movement center line is inconsistent with idler, this kind of movement way will cause the weight of conveyor belt distributed unevenly, uneven wear on both sides will cause the serious local wear of conveyor belt. At the overlapping part of conveyor belt, due to the materials falling from upper of the conveyor belt will generate the impact to the lower conveyor belt, form time to time will cause the wear of lower conveyor belt. When the conveyor belt is operating normally, there are anchor bolts or other metals materials transported by the conveyor belt that will result in wear and tear to conveyor belt.
Main hazards: the conveyor belt under the long term of wear condition, the internal steel wires will be exposed to the outside, it will not only cause the corrosion of internal steel wire that affect the using life, but also will cause the steel wire is prone to break eventually leading to a belt breakage accident. When the conveyor belt is operating normally, the overlapping part of conveyor belt will wear and become thinner, when the both sides that inconsistent thickness of conveyor belt through the idler, conveyor belt will scratch the roller, especially the overlap between the new and the old conveyor belts is obvious.
If the steel wire of the conveyor belts is exposed to outside after wear and chemical reaction occurs with air and coal slime the steel wire will often break. This will not only shorten the service life of the conveyor belt but also cause serious belt breakage accident. Lower rollers of conveyor belt play a supporting role in the conveyor belt. If the support force of roller is unevenly to the conveyor belt, two sides of conveyor belt will occur different wear, when the both sides thickness of conveyor belt is inconsistent, conveyor belt will deviate to the greater tensile strength.
