  In October last year, our company shipped a 20-meter flame-retardant conveyor belt with a bandwidth of 1400mm to a coal mine in Australia for underground transportation of coal.


  Flame-retardant conveyor belts, also known as whole-core flame-retardant conveyor belts, are made of an integral belt core that is impregnated with polyvinyl chloride impregnated paste and then plasticized or vulcanized.


  It has the characteristics of high strength, large transportation capacity, and balanced transportation. At the same time, this product It has good flame retardant, antistatic, impact resistance, wear resistance, corrosion resistance and other properties. This product is mainly suitable for underground transportation in coal mines, and can also be used for material transportation in the metallurgical and chemical industries.


  1. Add a scraper device to the reversing roller. Could add the scraper device along the conveyor belt of the reversing roller, that could eliminate the material adhesion problem at the reversing roller thus solve the partly damage caused by the material adhesion of the roller.


  2. The claw pulley at any concave transition point of the conveyor. Practice has proven that, the lateral strength of steel rope conveyor belt is enough, when starting the repulsion pulley causes excessive local stress on the conveyor belt, resulting in tearing the conveyor belt. Changing the belt pulley umbrella to a belt roller can solve this problem.


  3. Improve the conveyor belt dropping hopper, which is one of the effective measures to prevent early damage to the conveyor belt. Improve the dropping hopper at each transfer point of every conveyor to increase its ability to pass foreign objects by 2.5 times. Long and large foreign objects aren’t get stuck easily between the funnel wall and the conveyor belt during the transportation process, reduce the rate of foreign objects that tearing the conveyor belt.


  4. The guide skirt at the drop hopper makes the gap between the guide skirt and the conveyor belt become bigger along the operate direction. Solve the problem of coal that stuck between the conveyor belt and the board. Eliminate the damage that caused by conveyor belt. For hoppers with a large drop, buffer baffles are installed inside to prevent materials from directly impacting the conveyor belt. For common circumstance, heat resistant conveyor belt is prone to get damaged by high temperature materials lead to crack, wear, hardening, softening and delaminating.


  Thus, heat conveyor belt has strong heat resistance to cement, steel, sand of the heat conveyor belt which can transported the high temperature materials of 60-200℃, instantaneous temperature can reach 250°C. The covered glue of the heat resistant conveyor belt has high temperature resistant and wear resistant to prevent the cracks or hardening on the conveyor belt surface due to the high temperature, with special heat process, the shrinkage rate of the belt core due to thermal aging is minimized.
