In July last year, our company shipped a 40-meter heat-resistant conveyor belt with a width of 1200mm to a construction yard in Australia for the transportation of building materials.

The heat-resistant conveyor belt is made of multi-layer rubber cotton canvas (polyester cotton cloth) or polyester canvas covered with high temperature resistant or heat-resistant rubber, and is vulcanized and bonded together at high temperature.

It is suitable for conveying hot coke below 175℃. Cement, slag and hot castings, etc. It is mainly used in metallurgy, construction and other industries to transport high-temperature materials such as sinter, coke, cement clinker, etc. The material temperature does not exceed 800°C and the belt surface temperature does not exceed 220°C.

  Heat resistance conveyor belt apply the woven into a three to five layer overall structure using polyester industrial filaments, nylon filaments and cotton threads. It with high strength, large volume of loading and conveyor stably and other features. At the same time it has the characteristics of good flame retardancy, anti static, impact resistance, corrosion resistance. They are mainly used in coal transportation in coal mines, used in the mechanical transportation of metallurgy industry, chemical industry. PVC conveyor belt could be used for materials transportation that the inclination angel is below 22 degree, the PVG conveyor belt is suitable for material transportation with the inclination angle is below 16 degree.

  The component of the heat resistant conveyor belt are three: The whole belt core, polyvinyl chloride impregnated paste and the covered layer. The whole belt core is the skeleton material of the conveyor belt. Skeleton material applied cotton yarn, high strength polyester industrial filament and nylon filament which is woven into a B shaped three layer or above overall structure. The fabric structure is tight and reasonable. Low elongation, ultra high strength polyester industrial filament is used in the warp direction to ensure the low elongation during the using time of conveyor belt. Weft direction used the high strength nylon filament to ensure the groove formation and impact resistance of the conveyor belt.

  Cotton thread is covered and woven on the structure of the whole belt core that is used for increasing the amount of paste absorbed, protect the belt core ensure the resistance and the using life of the conveyor belt. Resulting in belt core applied this kind of woven process structure that meets the application requirements of the conveyor belt which are low elongation, good groove formation, better joint strength, tear resistance and wear resistance. PVC plasticizer paste is used to fill the impregnated tape core.

  Each integral braided belt core has to be impregnated with plastic paste with required properties, entered into a high temperature plasticizing box to be stretched and plasticized, so that its physical mechanical property get improved and strengthened. PVC plastisol is compounded of variety of chemical raw substances with different properties to ensure the required safety property of conveyor belts. Such as flame retardancy and anti static property. Safety property could make sure the safe use of the conveyor belt, to avoid the accidents reduce the dangerous of miners.

  Covered layer decide the transportation features, impact resistance, corrosion resistance of conveyor belt and it formed through high temperature plasticization or flat vulcanization. There are two types of covered layer could be selected, plastic covered layer is suitable for environment conveying the inclination angle less than 15 degrees; rubber covered layer suits for environment transportation inclination angle is less than 20 degrees. Meanwhile, it has better capacity of climbing, larger capacity of loading and better wear resistance. Different rubber covered is used for different environments and conditions, the covered layer have a impact on the using life of the conveyor belt to a great extent.
