How to improve the capacity of transmission of the heat resistant conveyor belt

  In October of the previous year, our company shipped a 23-meter heat-resistant conveyor with a bandwidth of 800mm to a mine in the United States for coal mine transportation.


The heat-resistant conveyor belt is made of multi-layer rubber cotton canvas (polyester cotton cloth) or polyester canvas covered with high temperature resistant or heat-resistant rubber, and is vulcanized and bonded together at high temperature.


It is suitable for conveying hot coke below 175℃. Cement, slag and hot castings, etc. It is mainly used in metallurgy, construction and other industries to transport high-temperature materials such as sinter, coke, cement clinker, etc. The material temperature does not exceed 800°C and the belt surface temperature does not exceed 220°C.


  When the operation of the heat conveyor belt, the tape will be stretch lead to the drive force lower. Hence according to the condition use the tensioning equipment to tighten the tape appropriately and increasing the tension of the tape to improve the drive force. Increasing the wear friction, the specific methods are protect the wooden lining or plastic gasket covered on the transmission drum to increase the friction resistance. On the other hand, less water and coal should be discharged to prevent the friction resistance from decreasing.


  Heat resistant conveyor belt have poor working standard so the drive force required large, therefore choosing the double roller transmission systems to increases the enveloping angle. Sometimes conveyor belt deviates due to caused of manufacturing, installation, use of conveyor. When there is too much deviation, conveyor belt contacts with the roller bracket and the frame causing the edge rubber wear and even flanging of the conveyor belt.


  The wear of baffle on the conveyor belt is kind of a special wear. If want to change the design of the baffle and pay attention to the maintenance, this kind of wear can be almost prevented. The lower covered glue of the conveyor belt is subjected to friction from self-aligning rollers and the forward inclined trough rollers. Wear occurs at the transition section from the rollers and at the curved bulges of the conveyor. If slippage or inability to pull occurs during use, the fault should be detected immediately, the tensioning system should be adjusted and tightening, loosening, equipment and keep the equipment flexible.


  The wear caused by cleaning machine usually is uniform to the conveyor belt, but if use the hard steel plate as the cleaning plate and using the incorrect using method, it will also cut off the dirty and the rubber. When the foreign materials that bring from the conveyor belt and the cleaner tip, it will be made a long deep scratches on the conveyor belt when operating. In the application, it is prohibit to connect the different types, different size of slings together. In the using time should be folded, pressure from hard objects, should be stored in a roll.


  The way of transporting the raw materials direction and the dropping materials efficiency should be consistent with the direction, speed of the sling. Before using it should be started empty to avoid the electric motor overload and conveyor belt slippage, before stop the machine the raw materials on the sling should be unloaded.
