  Last year, our company shipped a 75-meter flame retardant conveyor with a width of 1200mm to a coal mine in Australia for mining materials.


  Flame-retardant conveyor belts, also known as whole-core flame-retardant conveyor belts, are made of an integral belt core that is impregnated with polyvinyl chloride impregnated paste and then plasticized or vulcanized. 


  It has the characteristics of high strength, large transportation capacity, and balanced transportation. At the same time, this product It has good flame retardant, antistatic, impact resistance, wear resistance, corrosion resistance and other properties. This product is mainly suitable for underground transportation in coal mines, and can also be used for material transportation in the metallurgical and chemical industries.

  PVG flame retardant conveyor belt is composed of muti layer cotton canvas or polyester canvas and the high temperature rubber, its mainly used in mining industry, electric plant, building and other fields. They have nice performance in transporting the slag, cement, high temperature castings. Meanwhile, the advantages of long using time, good heat temperature resistance, low weight of belt body make it favored by many users.

  

  PVG flame retardant conveyor belt is consisted of nylon filament and cotton fiber to form the whole core of the conveyor belt, add the rubber molding on the basis of the normal PVC conveyor belt. This structure greatly improves the conveying efficiency due to addition of the rubber. Groove forming properties of the belt have also been significantly improved the anti slip resistance, cold resistance, wear resistance and other aspects.


  Because of the whole plastical belt body vulcanized with the rubber surface, it can transport the materials at an angle below 20° and it is able to be used in the same angle in a water humid environment. Belt body with good electrostatic conductivity and flame retardant effects, could meet the various requirement of MT-914, especially used for materials transportation in flammable places such as underground coal mines.


  The belt body of PVG flame retardant conveyor belt mostly apply high strength, low elongation of polyester filament with high transverse strength, moderate mold. It has light weight of belt body, impact resistance, tear resistance, high strength and other advantages. Styrene-butadiene rubber and ordinary rubber are both flammable, to meet the flame retardancy should be added the flame retardants.


  Layered flame retardant PVG conveyor belt used antimony trioxide, chlorinated paraffin, zinc borate and aluminum hydroxide. If a single flame retardant is selected the flame retardant effect is not ideal at all, but to cooperate with a variety of retardants. The combination of flame retardants can produce a strong flame retardant effect.


  During the combustion process, the flame retardant antimony trioxide can abosrb heat through volatilization, thereby producing gas, isolating oxygen and combustibles. The flame retardant chlorinated paraffin can produce hydrogen chloride at high temperatures, hydrogen or water will appear under the chemical reaction, hence slowing down the combustion until it stops.
