  Turn off the power supply of the belt conveyor, unload the protective cover, loosen the assembly bolts of the motor. The moving motor that introduced by the conveyor belt manufacturers make the conveyor belt loosen, there is no need to remove the conveyor belt without prying. Do not pry the conveyor belt off. Remove the old conveyor belt and inspect it whether there is abnormal on it. Excessive wear might mean there are some design or transmission problem that existing in the transmission device.   Cleaning the conveyor belt and the pulley, should wipe it with a rag dipped in a little nonvolatile liquid. It is not advisable to soak it in detergent or use detergent to scrub the conveyor belt.   Inspecting the belt conveyor pulley whether has the abnormal wear and whether it constitutes linearly symmetrical. It is fairly important for the pulley to be straight line symmetry for the drive operation of the conveyor belt. Inspecting the rest transmission components of belt conveyor, such as bearings and bushings, durability and lubrication.   Tighten the center distance of the belt conveyor transmission device until the tension detector measure the tension is appropriate of the conveyor belt.   Although the conveyor belt in belt conveyor doesn’t need to adjust the tension, we still advise to start the device and inspect the property of the conveyor belt, to check whether there is unusual vibration, to listen whether there is abnormal noise. Turning off the machine is the best way and check the condition of motors; if feels hot to touch it, the conveyor belt might be too tight, the bearings might are not parallel, or the lubrication is poor.
