  In August of the previous year, our company shipped a 96-meter heat-resistant conveyor belt with a bandwidth of 1200mm to a construction site in Australia for the transmission and transportation of building materials.


  The heat-resistant conveyor belt is made of multi-layer rubber cotton canvas (polyester cotton cloth) or polyester canvas covered with high temperature resistant or heat-resistant rubber, and is vulcanized and bonded together at high temperature.


 It is suitable for conveying hot coke below 175℃. Cement, slag and hot castings, etc. It is mainly used in metallurgy, construction and other industries to transport high-temperature materials such as sinter, coke, cement clinker, etc. The material temperature does not exceed 800°C and the belt surface temperature does not exceed 220°C.


  According to the temperature of the conveyed material, the surface structure shape and the viscosity and other parameters to choose the type of the heat resistant conveyor belt; the surface temperature is closely related to the using life of the heat resistant conveyor belt which will directly affect the covered glue and the core layer, the viscosity strength of the core layer, the performance of covered glue, crack resistance, etc. Fully investigating, measure the surface temperature and using condition before choosing the type of heat resistant conveyor belt.


  Relatively thick of covered glue is an important condition to ensure the tape with longer using life. For the whole surface temperature of the tape should be measured, recorded and monitored continuously and uninterrupted to avoid the unnecessary temperature rise; the tape that conveyed high temperature material must be forced to cool(cooling with water on the laminate); keep all the conveyed materials are evenly distributed that suits the bandwidth and are not overly concentrated.


  Prevent pollution from all oil to the tape, the trace oil in the cooling water will damage more to the tape than the damage caused by the heat of the material; Once the tape containing the heat materials stops operation should be taken the measures to unload the heat materials immediately. The withstand temperature no more than 150℃, the type of high temperature resistant could withstand the temperature of no more than 180℃, the burn resistant conveyor belt could transport the materials with temperature of 200℃-600℃.   There are standards for the appearance quality of heat resistant conveyor belt, chemical industry standard HG 2297-92 stipulates that the appearance quality shall comply with the appearance quality regulation of GB 526 fabric core conveyor belts. Therefore, the heat resistant conveyor belt must meet the appearance quality standard which is GB 526. The type of raw rubber that used in the heat resistant conveyor belt is different so the appearance quality of production of the heat resistant conveyor belt will be different too.
