In March of the previous year, our company shipped a 45-meter conveyor belt with a bandwidth of 1200mm to a logistics field in the United States for the transmission and delivery of packages.

The conveyor belt is a mechanical device widely used in the industrial field. Its main functions include: material transportation,

material lifting, material accumulation, material classification, garbage cleaning, operating safety, and improving efficiency.

  Generally speaking, flame retardant conveyor belt include two different series: general flame retardant conveyor belt and the whole carcass flame retardant conveyor belt, the composition of two differs according to the flame retardant requirements, the flame retardant resistance performance of the whole carcass of the flame retardant conveyor belt will higher than ordinary flame retardant conveyor belt. There are two main different between them:

  The structure of ordinary conveyor belt and other fabric carcass canvas conveyor belt are the same. Both are covered with glue on the outside and a core, one layer of core is covered with a layer of glue, the different from the ordinary conveyor belt is adding the flame retardant formula in the covered glue, but the rubber still applied the natural rubber.

  However, there is a big difference in the structure of the whole-core conveyor belt, its belt core has changed the original structure, it either one layer of rubber surface nor one layer of cloth, it is a complete belt core. This belt core only covered one layer of flame retardant rubber in its. To do it for greatly enhance the internal flame retardancy, because the flame retardant environment experienced by the entire core flame conveyor belt is very harsh, except like the outside of the ordinary flame retardant conveyor belt is flammable, its internal belt core should be fully flame retardant. So, have this kind of designing method.

  Material transportation of the ordinary flame retardant conveyor belt usually use in the wells. The transportation volume is small, the transportation distance is limited. The core flame retardant conveyor belt is mainly used for coal transportation in the coal mines belong to underground transportation, and the transportation volume is relatively large, transportation distance start at several thousands meters.

  The material of ordinary flame conveyor belt is natural rubber, the core flame retardant conveyor belt applied the PVC and the rubber, also there is anti skid patterns on the belt body. Ordinary flame retardant conveyor belt are only used when the patterned conveyor belt required otherwise not. Core flame retardant conveyor belt must require the safety certificate before they could use. Ordinary flame retardant conveyor can only used for underground material transportation in coal mines. Core flame retardant conveyor belt use in coal mining,chemical industry and other transportation environment that extremely require the flame retardant.

  The anti static effect of ordinary flame retardant conveyor belt couldn’t be compare with the flame retardant effect of core flame retardant conveyor belt. The carcass of ordinary flame retardant conveyor belt is layered core which has bad absorption effect to the static electricity. The core flame retardant conveyor belt is a complete core belt which has good absorption effect to the static electricity. The meter of the ordinary flame retardant conveyor belt is relatively small while the whole core flame retardant conveyor belt are basically in kilometers at a time due to their use in the coal mines and other transportation environments. Generally the interior of the flame retardant conveyor belt might be polyester belt core, the inside of the whole core flame retardant conveyor belt has strong belt core such as wire rope core.
