Last year, our company shipped a 60-meter heat-resistant conveyor belt with a bandwidth of 1200mm to a cement clinker plant in Australia for the transmission and transportation of cement materials. This heat-resistant conveyor belt has strong inter-layer adhesion, little elongation deformation, outstanding anti abrasion capability with the correct using conditions under 180 C.

  Heat resistant conveyor belt is a conveyor belt with special performance with good high temperature resistance thereby it is widely used in some particular industries. The following will introduce the application conditions of the heat resistance conveyor belt in some industries.

  1. Steel industry: steel industry is one of the important application fields for the heat resistant conveyor belt. During the production process of steel, high temperature slag, iron ore, hot-roller steel billets, etc., need to be transported by the heat resistant conveyor belt. Owing to the under a high temperature environment the traditional conveyor belt will get damaged easily, heat resistant conveyor belt is able to maintain relatively good mechanical performance under a high temperature and improve the transport efficiency.

  2. Electric power industry: heat resistant conveyor belt is widely used in the coal-fired transportation system in power stations. The high temperature ash generated during the coal burning process needs to be processed and transported through conveyor belts. Under a high temperature environment it is prone to aging and degumming for using the ordinary conveyor belt. But the heat conveyor belt can withstand the high temperature and has longer using life.

  3. Cement industry: during the production of process of cement need to transport the ore, coal powder, granular materials to every steps of production through conveyor belt. Heat resistant conveyor belt can conveyor for a long time under a high temperature and be resist of erosion of molten materials, improve the efficiency of production and the stability of transportation.

  4. Metallurgical industry: in the metallurgical industry, the heat resistant conveyor belt plays an important role in sintering, pelletizing, smelting and other processes. The material in a high temperature need to be transported and processed through conveyor belt. Under a high temperature environment the heat resistant conveyor belt is able to maintain relatively good anti wear resistance and anti corrosion performance.

  5. Glass industry: during the glass of production process need to conveyor the raw material, semi finished products and the finished products to various processes through the conveyor belt. At the condition of high temperature, the heat resistant conveyor belt can maintain good mechanical performance and the anti wear property to improve the production efficiency and quality of the glass.

  6. Foundry industry: in the foundry industry the heat resistant conveyor belt plays an important role in various processes and entering and existing the furnace. High temperature environment and the demoulding of molten metals such as molten iron and molten aluminum need to be transported and processed by the heat conveyor belt. In a high temperature environment the heat resistant conveyor belt could maintain good stability and using life.

  7. Coal industry: in the coal industry, the heat resistant conveyor belt is widely used in coal mining, selecting coal, coal storage and electricity consumption. For the coal mining process in the high temperature seams, heat conveyor belt could transport the coal in the high temperature environment and improve the coal mining efficiency.
